A very special, for me personally, Yoga Retreat will take place in Dexamenes in Kourouta - Western Peloponnesus - for the third consecutive year.
Breath-taking sunsets, a full moon and 4 ideal spaces for Yoga Practice, all in the same place. Between the 6th and 8th of October, 2023, we will continue our summer holidays inside a very luxurious and well-designed space. We will have the opportunity to pick up our summer holidays, exactly where we left off – in front of the sea, laying on the sandy beaches, enjoying all the intricate dishes the hotel restaurant has to offer and take a small day-trip in Ancient Olympia.
It’s not often that the economy of a place has been so intricately connected with a specific agricultural product like the connection that grapes have with western Peloponnesus, and more specifically the Black unprocessed currants from Korinthos. We will take a step back and enjoy our time in a brand-new hotel on the beach of Kourouta, which will allow us relax while enjoying simplicity. The space and energy convey a Mediterranean vibe and experience, with views of the sea, as far as the eye can see.
Bio Fotini Bitrou
Fotini comes from Aegina and operates the Kouros studio in the town of Aegina. She is a Yoga Alliance RYT-500 Certified teacher and graduate Department of Physical Education and Sport Science - University of Athens. Formerly a nationwide champion in 800m and 1500m athletics. She has delivered more than 9.000 hours of yoga teaching and completed more than 60 yoga retreats.
