In our studio on Aegina island – Greece you will learn about Yoga through breathing exercises, relaxation techniques, and physical exercises that will help to balance the body, making it healthier. The types of Yoga are Power Yoga and Asana Yoga based on physical strength, and Raja Yoga which is based on meditation.
I’m very happy that I have the opportunity to share and spread that which I love. I love sharing moments of peace as well as moments of physical expression of the soul and the body. After each lesson I feel that what connects us all is the breath, the need for health and the thirst after knowledge and light!
My love for knowing about the body, movement, and alternative ways of managing energy, led me to the path towards Yoga. All levels of learning yoga consist of a series of exercises that strengthen the body, calm the mind and lead us into a more harmonious and balanced state of being. They include Asanas (postures), Pranayama (breathing techniques) and relaxation at the end of the class.

To begin you need light and comfortable clothing (with no shoes) to allow freedom of movement. An area of tranquillity and warmth will provide suitable conditions for Yoga. As with all exercise, it shouldn’t be undertaken on a full stomach, and don’t forget, before you begin, it’s always wise to get your doctor’s approval, particularly if you have any health problems.
