A caress or a kiss?

A caress or a kiss?

It is a fact that our brain separates and distinguishes the different kinds of kisses. So when we kiss a relative or a friend on the cheek, the brain only moves 2 facial muscles. But when kissing is erotic and passionate, studies have shown that all the facial muscles are activated and functioning. Our brain also activates a plurality of nerves that are coordinated with each other and two people in the dark can easily find each other’s lips and kiss like they can see each other.
A study by the University of Edinburgh concluded that people who kiss a lot, statistically, do not get sick very easy and they increase their average lifespan by 5 years.
One minute of passionate kissing is enough for us to burn 26 calories. If this kiss is overflowing with passion in a minute we burn at least 39 calories.

According to a study by the University College of London, caress reduces pain and can act as a painkiller. Both the intensity and the severity of pain can be reduced when a gentle touch is applied near the pain source (around 2.5-5 cm).
A caress on the shoulder or the back is the easiest and perhaps the most meaningful way to express your interest, sympathy and your feelings to others during difficult times.
Physical contact helps combat depression and contributes substantially to the reduction of anxiety.
I would like to dedicate to you some lyrics that came to mind…

 “Bring me some desert colors
And a body like the full moon.
Bring me a caress and a kiss
from the soul and to the soul
and paint my new life”
