This Yoga Retreat is taking place for the 4th year in Koufonisia, an island where you can unwind and enjoy the emerald-green waters.
It’s no coincidence that Kato Koufonisia are synonymous with Paradise.
Exotic beaches, sun and good food which will amaze you
In this Yoga Retreat in Koufonisia we plan to relax, lay on the sandy beaches, swim in the emerald-green waters, forget everything that we “must” do and do what we “want” to do. We will lay under the hot sun, have the countless stars in the sky at night keep us company and get lost in our thoughts under the moonlit sky.
In those 4 days we will experience the perfect Greek summer, with its white-blue houses, cobbled streets and beautiful sea and beaches. An island so elegant and beautiful, yet simple and traditional, with no cars, beach chairs, and the local fishermen and farmers being there, subtly in the background, going about their day as if we were in a film.
In Koufonisia the space and time dimensions have their own meaning.
You won’t need watch, that’s for sure. If you have one, just throw it in your suitcase and forget all about it.
Bio Fotini Bitrou
Fotini comes from Aegina and operates the Kouros studio in the town of Aegina. She is a Yoga Alliance RYT-500 Certified teacher and graduate Department of Physical Education and Sport Science - University of Athens. Formerly a nationwide champion in 800m and 1500m athletics. She has delivered more than 9.000 hours of yoga teaching and completed more than 90 yoga retreats.

The Olvos Koufonisia is the only 4-star hotel in Koufonisia and within the wider region of Small Cyclades. It’s 150 meters from the harbor and main town. The nearest beach is just 50 meters away from the hotel. Within walking distance, you will find a super market, tavernas, and restaurants.
The Koufonisia islands is a complex of islands comprising the Ano (Upper) Koufonisi and Kato (Lower) Koufonisi, Keros island, and a number of even smaller islands called Small Cyclades. Located between Naxos and Amorgos, the islands are famous for their beautiful, golden beaches, and the relaxed atmosphere.
The sea of these islands is an underwater paradise: plenty of fish, ideal for scuba divers. That’s why, throughout the year, scuba divers and fishermen plan visits to the islands.
