Mindfulness – Explore how mindfulness can help you to become more awake to your own internal experiences, learn how change becomes possible. Relax with daily mindfulness practices, guided meditations and free time for rest and reflection.
Silence – Experience how spending some time in silence can settle the many emotions that are triggered by talking, or by the anticipation of talking. Notice how increased stillness and relaxation can give rise to new clarity and understanding.
Yoga – Enjoy daily session of mindful yoga suitable for beginners and experienced practitioners. Learn how to use your breath as an anchor to the present moment and how yoga practices can enhance your balance and flexibility, bringing new vitality.
Christiane Pohl is an executive leadership coach, mentor, facilitator and founder of More Life More Success Coaching who brings creativity and maturity to her coaching and teaching. She has coached over 400 clients, and has developed and delivered customised Meditations and Mindfulness programmes to various organizations. Her personal journey with Meditation began in 1998 she and has practiced Mindfulness since 2013. Christiane is trained in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), meditation and breath work and also facilitates several retreats and seminars each year. Fotini Bitrou (Hatha, Restorative, Ashtanga and Vinyasa Yoga)
Fotini is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with a Registered Yoga School (RYS). Fotini is a gymnast (Graduate Athens University) and owner of the Kouros studio in Aegina. She was the founder of the classic athletics track team in Aegina of which she was president for 5 years, and she was involved for 12 years with classic athletics (800 – 1,500 meters) and was track champion in many appearances with the National Team of Greece.

The retreat will begin with registration at 5pm on the first day, followed by an orientation and welcome meeting before dinner around 8pm. The daily rhythm of the retreat involves gentle yoga, guided meditations, breathing practices, walks in nature, interactive session in groups or pairs, individual reflections, explanations and some free time.
Our experienced facilitators will offer support, guidance, insights and information throughout. The retreat is suitable for both, beginners and experienced meditators. The daily programme may be adjusted slightly depending on the needs of the participants.
Silence – During your time in Silence on day 3 and 4 reading, the use of phones and reading are discouraged, to help stay with your own experiences as they unfold. In this silent and mindful environment, awareness sharpens, the body quiets and space opens for insight and understanding to arise.
Diet -Delicious vegetarian cuisine is served at all meals. All food is prepared by us, and either grown on the island or sourced locally. We recommend avoiding all alcohol and to avoid or reduce coffee and tobacco consumption during those 5 days.
However you may imagine the experience of the retreat to be, it will probably be different. Most participants find it deeply refreshing and often life-transforming. The stillness and simplicity of the retreat brings a wonderful and unique possibility for renewal. At the end guidance will be given for ways to continue the practices at home and work.

8.30 Breakfast, Reflection and Relaxation time
10.00 -13.00 Daily collective practices, indoors and outdoors, including guided sitting meditations, working meditation, mindful walking, eating and breathing.
13.00-15.00 Lunch, Reflection and Relaxation time
15.00-18.00 Theory and practices for mindful inquiry, dialogue, listening, principles of mindfulness. Participants will have the opportunity to work in in small groups or pairs.
18.00-19.00 Evening Restorative Yoga
19.30 Dinner followed by evening session with meditation, fun and reflection time, question and answer periods.
* Day 3 and 4 will include periods of silence
