Yoga Retreat in the Nature of Agrafa, 11–13 of October 2019 with Fotini Bitrou

Another experience with Yoga that we had in the Montanema Handmade Village in the three days of 11–13 of October 2019, this time with different protagonists. Nature gave its colours and I used my paintbrushes; we painted in the unbelievable hall of Montanema Handmade Village, that was so lovingly taken care of, and the result was magical. In four practices with a different subject each time, we worked with gratefulness, loss, and communication. Each of us coordinated their sankalpa, and everyone followed in an interior voice. We truly felt lucky and full of gratitude.
We chose to look at the positive things that we went through, no matter their number, many or few. We appreciated life for letting us reach this place with everything we achieved, everything we lived through, everything we’ve created. In fewer words, gratitude is a philosophy of life.

When we weren’t practicing, we had the chance to enjoy the brand-new Spa, based on the philosophy and the products of the mountain. The mushroom hunt will remain carved in our memory, but what we’ll mainly remember is the connection with the natural environment we felt. On that same day, in the evening, we had the chance to bake a mushroom pie out of what we had gathered. We ended the final day with a hike to the waterfalls of Anthochorio, through a beautiful path framed with pines and plane trees.
